New country, new milestone: from a coffee station and photo box to personalized merchandise - the grand opening at Bahrain City Center was full of surprises. On October 10, the new NEW YORKER store team welcomed numerous visitors to the opening ceremony and, in addition to a DJ, dance performances and bubble tea, had a number of highlights in store to accompany the event with entertainment. The market entry in the capital city of Manama in the Kingdom of Bahrain underlines NEW YORKER's ambition to continue its stationary expansion in the Middle East. In addition to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain is now also part of the NEW YORKER distribution network. GO UP! Eight new trainees in the Netherlands have been following this motto since September 1st. The young talents met last Thursday at the NCVB Bedrijfsopleidingen training institute in Tilburg to kick off their MBO 4 retail manager training. The trainees from all over the country and, for the first time, from Belgium came together to get to know their school and lecturer Lizet Boomaars, who supervises her students as part of an exclusive NEW YORKER class. #newyorkerclass Over the next 18 months, the trainees will be trained to become future managers in the stores - on site in Tilburg, in our NEW YORKER stores and online. #newwork We wish you every success and a great time on your way! <hr /> GO UP! LET’S CELEBRATE – ITALY 🇮🇹

15 years ago, NEW YORKER expanded its European presence by entering the Italian market. The first NEW YORKER store was opened in the city of Faenza. A lot has happened since then and NEW YORKER has been able to further expand its presence in the country with the opening of 16 more stores. We would like to thank all our Italian NEW YORKER colleagues for their commitment and look forward to continuing the success story in Italy. The annual Braunschweig company run took place recently and we were there with around 80 (more or less) sports-mad NEW YORKERS from various departments. Envious glances were guaranteed for our runners in their exclusive jerseys on the 4.8 km course. After the run, we rounded off the evening with cool drinks, snacks and photo box fun. Exciting days lie behind us: we have put together an extensive program for our 80 or so new trainees and students to kick-start their careers. From games to get to know each other and interviews with experts from our numerous specialist departments to initial training on topics such as etiquette, customer service and fashion, as well as evenings together in the beach bar above the rooftops of Braunschweig - it was all there! Thanks to our training teams for Headquarters and Sales, we were once again able to make our Welcome Days super varied and informative and give our newbies the best possible start to their NEW YORKER career. We look forward to a great collaboration and wish all students and trainees a successful start at NEW YORKER and lots of fun in their new professional challenge!
